Last week while we were looking for a new cafe to chill and work, we stumbled upon this new cafe, Shan Mu at Taman Connaught and it was really worth the trip.
With the concept of Wabi-Sabi and wood setting in interior and exterior, it kinda gave the feeling of being away from the busy city and enjoying the serenity of nature.
Our personal favourites were Salmon Ochazuke (It gets sold out really fast!) and their mocktails Unexpected Summer and Sunset.
Enjoyed the coffee too! (Yeap, I almost ordered the entire drink menu. Almost)
Sourdough was really fluffy (emergerd) and it was just perfect for me.
We went there early in the morning on the 5th day of CNY and it was before their grand opening so we were really lucky that we didn’t get to queue. I would say just get prepared if you are coming over the weekend ya.
